Just back from this spacious and extremely comfortable apartment in Ladera del Mar. Everything was spotlessly clean and the apartment well equipped. The balcony is truly stunning and we spent some lovely evenings drinking wine and looking at the fantastic views. It gets the sun from early morning and really made the holiday for us, I have never seen a more pleasant outdoor space in a holiday rental. Taxi numbers were supplied in the apartment and the taxi company never took more than 10 minutes to arrive to bring us into Nerja. The journey costs €8.00 each way. However, restaurant Avalon is only 5 minutes walk from the Apartment and the food here was excellent and well priced. The area is very hilly and there are a lot of steps to navigate both into the apartment and down to the pool. This is not a criticism, but worth bearing in mind if you have any mobility issues. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of sunbeds and shade both from umbrellas and the trees. It is also well maintained and extremely clean. The apartment is not really within walking distance of Nerja, so you would need either a car or taxis for Supermarkets and other facilities. Ladera del Mar is however a much more pleasant place to stay than downtown Nerja and the views from the Balcony and the Gardens more than make up for the travelling We have already booked for next year! 18/03/2011, Theo R. Casa Patricia is not just a holiday home it is a holiday home where from the first minute you feel the owners take very well care you. Everything is perfect (Deutsche Gruendlichkeit und Sauberkeit) Excellent location. The personal service of Yvonne and Sacha is outstanding. Bei diesem Urlaub hat einfach alles gestimmt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Wir haben ein Urlaubsmäpchen mit einigen Tipps für Nerja und Umgebung erhalten. Das Appartement ist sehr schön und geräumig mit einer wunderschönen großen Terasse. Der Ausblick von der Terasse ist traumhaft: das blaue Meer, mediteraner Garten... This house has a very complete interior. There is a swimming pool with sunchairs. The terrace is very big with sunny and shady parts during the whole day. A beautiful view on the see. From the terrace we could see the dolphins in the sea. 13/04/2010, Sandra R. Wonderful property with a marvellous terrace with a view to the sea on which you can enjoy, in contrary to many other terraces, the sun all day long if you like. It is fully equipped (even bbq equipment for the barbecue on the terrace and candles!) and lovingly decorated. Also high chair and baby bed!!! The urbanization is kept pretty small and has highly maintained plants, bushes and flowers and a beautiful pool with a park-like garden. It is all really quiet so that you can enjoy the roar of the sea and the starry sky with a glass of wine at your leisure and in the mornings then the wonderful twittering of a great variety of birds with a “café con leche”. The walk on the beach to Nerja takes about 20 min, in the direction of Torrox you can reach small restaurants with fish grills also within about 20 minutes. The next supermarket is about 2 minutes by car. Plenty of parking space. Very, very nice, well organized and helpful landlords. Just like you want a vacation to be!! 06/02/2010 Ronja V. I have been to Nerja a few times before and have also lived in various holiday flats. The best, by far, was this one though! Already when arriving I was impressed by the cleanliness and the tasteful and also modern design. The best thing about this apartment is however the enormous terrace and the (no kidding) breathtaking view to the sea. The mile to the city centre of Nerja was not a problem either. Mostly we walked on the beach but the taxi for about 6 Euros wasn´t really expensive either.
